"Everyone must leave something behind when he dies, my grandfather said. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you're there. It doesn't matter what you do, he said, so long as you change something from the way it was before you touched it into something that's like you after you take your hands away. The difference between the man who cuts lawns and a gardener is in the touching, he said. The lawn cutter might just as well not have been there at all; the gardener will be there a lifetime."

Amazing

Intro:
Crying she rips her skin, just disregarding the sin, she doesn't feel she deserves the body she's gifted with, keeping to herself, and hiding it from her friends, looking into the mirror, she wishes she could blend in, I can see her differently now, how mean I must've been, I watch her flaws fade away, never wanna see them again, she puts them back into my head, making me feel her dread, making me wish that her and I could start all over again

Chorus: she shares into the mirror and sees nothin but a monster, slender stomach, stick thighs, she thinks no man would want her, but I'm here to say, she's sadly mistaken, for one reason, she is simply amazing

Verse:
Now for all the girls with a bad self image, tears full of sorrow, no hope for u to borrow, life is not a play you don't a chance to scrimmage, its a slim path its okay to be timid, your step becomes rigid, your excitement gets a limit, well thats the kinda life I'm tired of her livin, it makes me really livid, my words cut deeper and they may get explicit, I'm no longer civic, I wanna be her ticket, to the land of her dreams, pick up her broken pieces and supply her every need, you reap what you sow, so I'll plant a thousand seeds, and when she blossoms like a flower we can sway in the breeze, now this might be confusing with a bunch of similes, so as simple as can be, I've wiped the tears from her eyes and now she can clearly see

Chorus

I Don't Need You Satan

I don't need you Satan
Please take the first exit
My life won't be taken
I will not sell it

We speak more than seldom
Not by my choice
Many times I am tempted
Left with no voice

I need my way out
I've been undefeated
I may lose now
I may have been too conceited

I am complacent
Why do WE clash
My victory's brazen
That's been shown in the past

My Savior has came
He reigns from above
My God, he saves
With his grace from above

Today's Funny

Photo: The boys put the stuff animals on the altar to pray during worship before praise team rehearsal
My brothers brought all their stuffed animals to rehearsal. I'm glad all of them found their way to the altar :)

May I Take a Look Inside Your Brain?

I just want to see what it may contain
To truly understand its function
To be inside is a mustn't
For our knowledge of the world to deepen
We must be on the outside and see in
The same is true for all things
You can't understand the universe as an earthling
Because we can't see all things intercept
A person is a minuscule object
