Words

When we layer and create things that are elaborate
We create the designs of life onto our fabric
We attempt to make changes that are drastic
While using words that are fake as plastic
But using the real thing is how we see results
And being genuine is how we impact the most
From a few simple words from this mouth that I host
You can curse, condemn, or praise even when it takes the most.

There's a Want in the World

There's a want in the world
Not a need you can spot
They've cropped the top, then enlarged it to fit a lot
They want what they want and they won't allow change,
A desire for power and control is the crave.
No room in their hearts, they won't reserve a place,
I dry my eyes as I try, but things tend to stay the same.
I'm tired of these people, all their antics and their games,
And there's one person similar in the way she was trained
I tried to be different, but now we might be alike
Since now I have a want, and that's you by my side.
Someone to stand with, Pacing by my every stride.
Comfortable with herself, and I can see it in her eyes.
       She needs room to grow
I hope you know you're not alone
I hope you know I have a heart, and I;m not made of stone.
I like that you have a want, but first you obtained your needs
And if we could all do that it would erase the world's greed
The amount of things I've thought about is steep.
All thanks to you, and the intrigue that you bring.

Murders Among Us

I wrote This after Sandy Hook. I let my emotions spill onto the page when i wrote it, but my work took an unexpected twist. Stay tuned to figure out what it was:

Now I never put my scoop in on shootin' murder in mass groupin'
But I Just wonder, like really do they know what they're doin'?
Gettin' as many before that last suicide
Why did you bring in extra people, you didn't need their help just to die.
But I will take you inside these homicidical eyes
Where I don't need to be tried
Either way I get judged by analytical ties
Reasons stand wide while the true answers hide
As I pull the trigger I'm blind, yet I SEE emotions collide
later on you see cryin'
But no eyes will be dryin'
As they figure out how to charge this crime,
And things iron themselves out as they find my identity.
Then they go and tell the public that it's me that's their enemy.
But really I'm a product of desolate fixtures,
Growing up with no culture: an American mixture.
But a true breed, conjured of shooting, drinking and "swishers"
I really can't pretend that I ever could fit in
The separate the crazy so in school I couldn't blend
They're paving the way, so what I do fits the trend
Imagine what would've happened if only we were his friend.
